Honor is a word that has so many meanings that can flow abroad in many different areas. Here are lists of different meanings that “honor “affiliates with.


  1.           praise, award
  2.         recognize, treat with respect
  3.           give approval
  4.           enthusiastic expression of approval
  5.           hold in high regard



Now we have a wide view of Honor, we will begin to look at many different concepts starting with its praise and awards. Often children in school are recognized with praise and honor of completion in a class or have mastered a skill. This is a way to show how they are honored at their achievements. They will often have a gathering or party to announce awards that the student has obtained.

Secondly, honor is viewed as respect and to bring recognition to. This is a high award and achievement that many people will find themselves somehow taken part of whether they are given or receive. Different groups of people that are viewed and respected are many who participate in the schools, government and military officials, and church or social functions. They usually have a high rank in these fields.

Honor shows a rem of glory, in a spiritual sense. It is subject to high authority of one’s religion also. People perform many songs to show they respect and acknowledge all that one does. Songs also show a sign of enthusiastic expression of approval. This feels excitement and appreciation from the heart. Honor gives a high expected revelation in a spiritual manner.

Therefore, honor plays a potential era in life and will always be something in life for everyone. It feels great when you are acknowledged with honor and it also is just as exciting to show honor to loved ones, family and friends.

We should always give honor where honor is due. One day we will have the privilege of the same experiment whether it is from the giving or receiving end of life. Always acknowledge those who do good or right in any giving value for it will always be appreciated throughout life.

  1. Here are my suggestions:
    This assignment is primarily to be a 5 paragraph essay. The songs should be inserted into the paper once it is written. With that in mind, I’d like for you to focus on writing a paper on glory and its multiple meanings, then put the songs you chose in where they would best fit.
